Worked Great on my r230 SL600, The m275 engine configuration SL has the filter placed way up above the drivers side rear half shaft. If your car has the locking fuel line clamps you will need a special tool to remove the CLIC clamps. With the right tool these clamps are easier to work with/ then reuse; rather than getting frustrated, cutting off then swapping them for the standard screw oring clamps. (I would recommend against changing these clips to the screw type, due to the uniformity of clamping force exerted) Also, I was surprised to see that the filter I removed from the car was a mann filter as well. The car only has 21K miles on it, so I am thinking this might be the oe brand filter.
