Very easy install / VW Jetta MK6

I have a 2014 Jetta S MK6.

It look me 5 minutes to set up, I am NOT at all a car person - I would typically rather just pay someone else to handle this.

..Never again, the entire process took 5 minutes and it made a world of a difference - VW forgot to change my last filter during maintenance, and it started to smell like total ass. Not anymore! Thanks!

Perfect fit and seems effective and pulling junk out of the air.

Similar to the Mann air filter and and oil filter, for my 2012 VW Jetta TDI, this appears to match the OEM product. I actually went with the activated charcoal after I managed to leave some frozen chicken in my car for a couple of days in the hot desert sun and had some lingering not so great odor in my car. I cannot say if time or the filter did it, but I have been sticking with these since then. I change them out a bit more often due to living a dusty environment. Fit is perfect and they capture quite a bit of dust and particulate.

Always change your own air filters, especially this one on your VW.

This filter definitely looks like the OEM filter that VW used on my wife's Jetta. And I'm glad I took it upon myself to replace it, because the VW dealership that replaced it last had installed it incorrectly! They jammed the base all the way into the filter slot. They didn't know that the base sits flush at the bottom in order for the locking piece to line up properly with the slots, creating a nice seal. Amateurs with certs, love it.
