Bought this to put on my 1988 f250 with the 7.3 IDI. Wanted a clear bowl to see all the crud that was going through my filter. I also bought a motorcraft stock filter. It's a tight fit to get the bowl on there since it's a little bit wider than the stock bowl. You have to unscrew the drain plug all the way and loosen the two bolts that hold the filter assembly on the bracket that goes to the block. I also had to massage the valve cover just a hair to clear the drain plug. I've had it on for 2 weeks and so far I'm pleased with the setup.
